Supply Chain Manager

Main tasks:
- responsibility for the production planning function to ensure on-time delivery of customer products, working closely with car companies, canners and regional regional supply chain to manage demand variability and minimise customer distress;
- manage site capacity model and highlight capacity requirements to feed into budgeting & s/op process
- accountability for the raw materials management process, including scheduling/forecasting, working capital control and obsolescence management;
- responsibility for the customer services and commercial administration functions, including product invoicing. ensuring appropriate and professional standards between the site and the external marketplace (canners and oems);
- management with 3pl providers for transport services, obtaining the best delivery service in terms of speed, cost and security. conformance with legal requirements both within and outside the eu, including movement of waste materials;
- accountability for local third-party warehousing activities;
- provide support when setting up our erp system (sap) system;
- managing all customs import/export, ensuring legal requirements are met for all items imported/exported to and from the site, including applications for appropriate licences. record-keeping for a full, archived paper trail for customs audits;
- working within a matrix management structure ensuring integration of site operational requirements and regional functional supply chain requirements.to create a culture within the supply chain team of continuous improvement and waste elimination in line with lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements:
- 5+ years supply chain in a complex distribution and industrial manufacturing environment on managerial positions,
- english on b2/c1 level,
- logistic expertise: warehousing and factory planning,
- purchasing management skill,
- value stream analysis knowledge and lean expertise,
- very good communication skill to interact with colleagues, internal stakeholders at all levels and customers.
