Control Tower Specialist responsibility:
- Responsible for a correct settlement of all transport orders of a dedicated client, linked to the administrative, commercial and operational activities
- Responsible for maintaining a correct and timely flow of communication between the Customer and operational departments, in order to achieve optimal performance and maximum return
- Consolidate and manage shipments with an open mind to find possible savings opportunities on routes
- Pro-actively handle and resolve day-to-day operational issues and challenges whenever they occur
- To be first line contact for: the customers, local warehouses and with the logistics services providers' - - act and react , planning desk to avoid any disruptions in the transport process
- Day-to-day contact with the planning departments of a wide variety of logistics service providers to manage and monitor the pending shipments
Employee profile:
- Min. 4 years of working experience in forwarding service road transport or air & sea transport.
- Fluent English – obligatory; to contact with all over the world
- Experience and understanding in road transport forwarding to out of EU countries
- Knowledge of customs processes
- Understanding of contract logistic service
- Customer service profile
- Ability to benchmarking and selecting subcontractors
- Open to and able to start cooperation a new business subcontractor
- Communication skills, to build constructive relationships with customers, various operational department of own organization and suppliers?
- Team working attitude
- Divisibility of attention and wide perspective to be a helicopter view for whole process.
