This position represents the SQ&D department in various category teams, coordinates the EMEA SQ&D activities and ensures that the category strategies are executed with highest focus on quality, safety and environment, without compromising agreed processes and lowest total cost of ownership. The key task is the strategic and operational development of key suppliers in the EMEA region by performing site audits, supplier assessments and leading SQ&D improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents and reduce the number non-conformities.

Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers.

Manage supplier quality, capability and performance topics on behalf and in compliance with the Category Team manager.

Secure agreement with regional QHSE Teams for completion of supplier assessments improvement activities.

Lead SQ&D activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements.

Ensure relevant SQ&D agreements with suppliers are established (contracts).

Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier global initiatives.

Lead and conduct SQ&D audits on site and prepare executive report.

Travel expected to be approximately 100 days per year.

Minimum 5 years' experience gained on similar position.

Supplier negotiation experience and contract management.

Previous experience and knowledge of WTG installation or construction sites is an advantages, but not a must.

Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.

Certified auditor/lead auditor ISO.

Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent will be advantage.

Competency in software, spreadsheets and database management.

Ability to prioritize - also under pressure.

Strong meeting facilitator with the ability to work on all organizational levels.

Strong project management skills with the ability to drive complex development projects across the organization (external key suppliers).

Solid English skills in both speech and writing.

Strong Problem Solving skills focus on hands on approach.
