You will become a part of the Fitting Solutions Department that develops fitting software for a number of brands within the William Demant organization. In your new role you can look forward to managing a team consisting of highly skilled professionals, and your focus will be to ensure timely delivery of high quality solutions. Your daily tasks consist of:
- Lead a team of developers and architects
- Plan, prioritize and coordinate the development projects for your team
- Participate in the continuous development of software platforms and features
- Lead and implement ongoing improvements of processes and methods within the team, but also across the department
- Cross organizational development tasks in R&D
Fitting Solutions is comprised of highly skilled professionals, who understand the importance of sharing knowledge as “one team” and through the application of the latest technologies, develop new and creative solutions.
Strong development background and great interpersonal skills
To be able to handle your future challenges, we expect you to hold a Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science, and that you have a 3-5 years of professional experience. From your previous roles, you have an exceptional understanding of software development, and how to plan, execute and manage software development projects. Additionally, it would be preferred if you have experience with team management and knowledge of the SCRUM methodology.
As a person you are characterized by your energetic approach to your tasks and your sociable attitude towards the people around you. You have excellent motivational skills and master the task of creating a great team spirit. Furthermore, you have strengths in project planning and work in a very structured manner. You would describe yourself as someone who is visionary and very able to find workable solutions.
We expect you to speak English fluently. You can expect approximately 20 travel days per year.
