We are looking for suitable candidates as:
- You may be required to drive any of the company vehicles as and when requested (i.e. to collect/take any parts/equipment to various company and client site) therefore, a clean & valid license must be held at all times
- Relevant qualifications:
- Recognized apprenticeship
- 10-years’ experience within the Marine, Offshore, Industrial or Oil and Gas sectors
- Managerial experience
- Build good, professional relationships with all staff.
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
The labour station Technical Manager is wholly responsible for the overall management and technical recruitment operation of the HR/Labour station. The position will liaise with the UK based Project Technical Resource Manager in respect of labour recruitment and the group operational board for all other matters.
This encompasses the short-term requirements of providing trained and qualified tradesmen to service ongoing and current projects as well as formulating long-term policy to ensure the pool of available labour is sufficient to meet expected future commitments.
The position will require that the labour station technical manager maintains regular contact with CTO, the Group HR Manager, in-country HR Manager and the Project Technical Resource Manager to familiarise themselves with prospective projects and specific trade skills that will be required.
