As the Senior Assistant Electrical Engineer on the Advanced Facilities team, you will have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, Data Centers facilities, general manufacturing, building or infrastructure projects and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Working with other members of our team, you’ll deliver world class designs for industry leading clients around the world.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of electrical design package including One-Lines, Motor Control Schematics, Grounding Plans, Lighting Plans, Cabletray and Conduit Layouts, Underground Conduit Details, Installation Details
- Performing general discipline calculations accurately and neatly for use in design and checking (load lists, power and instrument junction box sizing, cable schedules, cable sizing, conduit sizing, breaker sizing, etc.).
- Checking of design and drawings created by other designers. Interfacing with other project team members for coordination.
- Monitoring and coordination project as-built efforts.
- Cooperation with engineers and designers of other disciplines.
- Performing material-take-off
- Performing design tasks, while working closely with a discipline engineer
- Preparation of layout, detail and sketch drawings
- Performing general discipline calculations accurately and neatly for use in design and checking (load lists, sizing, cable schedules, cable sizing, conduit sizing, breaker sizing, etc.).
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of IEC Electrical Codes and Standards
- Good skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation) and office suite (Word, Excel)
- Good English level - written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
