Join our Aerospace Electronics team as Senior System Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to shape the system level requirements and technical scope for new generation of airborne engine controllers.

- System Requirement Definition:
- Derives the requirements and establishes the acceptance criteria
- Resolves and negotiates the requirement conflicts
- Identifies areas of uncertainty and determines the risks
- Assesses the impact of changes on the solution and program
- System Architecture Definition:
- Determines system architecture that best meets the system requirements and business objectives
- Evaluates various architectures and the rationale behind them along with the ability and associated risks
- System Verification and Validation:
- Reviews and approves the system validation requirements and test plans
- Works with the team to execute the test plans and resolves issues encountered
- Reviews and approves the test reports
- Technical Risk Management:
- Performs technical system risk planning and appropriate risk mitigation actions
- Helps to resolve program impacts of the risk mitigation testing
- System Technical Assessment and Control:
- Performs thorough analysis of the system to ensure it meets the technical requirements
- Manages and controls these requirements for the system and the sub-systems
- Concurrent Engineering and Integration:
- Cooperates with Hardware, Software, Verification and Platform Engineers in the international teams
- Works with customers and across the organization to understand how the customer's needs are evolving and how this will impact our system and subsystems
- Must have:
- 8 years+ of proven experience in the related industry and/or system level engineering
- Strong technical leadership abilities to take a lead role with engineers, designers and technicians
- Ability to evaluate a big picture and have the necessary attentions to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills for systems, subsystems and components
- Effective communication skills in English
- Excellent teamwork, communication and presentation skills, accomplished in discussing complex or difficult topics on various levels within company or with the customers
- Would be a plus:
- Working knowledge of standards for airborne systems (ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254, DO-160 etc.)
- Experience in software/system verification
- Experience in design and development of Safety Critical applications
