Join our Engineering (Industrial Turbomachinery Systems) team as an Staff Electronics Hardware Engineer / Project Engineer.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional, to join our Industrial Turbomachinery Systems Electrical Controls Group and participate in design process of modern industrial electronics hardware.
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating detailed phases of a major projects or in a major project system of moderate scope
- Setting technical direction on complex projects and problem solving guidance to lower level Engineers and Technician
- Performing work that involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements and difficult coordination requirements
- Independent writing and performing complex component tests
- Providing direct support of sales, manufacturing, purchasing and development
- Supporting of internal engineering quality systems (Product Life Cycle process, Engineering Change process, etc.)
- Performing detailed analysis to evaluate potential solutions that would reduce risk, cost and complexity of design and test problems
- Leading international and multi-site projects as a Project Engineer
- Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
- More than 8 years of proven experience in industry
- Expert knowledge of electronic technologies and components, and applicable industry standards (IEC, UL, CE)
- Very good knowledge of Design for Six-Sigma tools and methodology, Green Belt certification will be a plus
- Good familiarity with the reliability engineering aspects
- Proven experience in complex analog and digital circuits design
- Working experience in Electrical CAD software such as Mentor Expedition
- Expert use of electrical design simulation tools such as PSpice and other analytical tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations, (Customer, internal and management) and critical reports
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex design reviews internally and Customer
- Solid technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.)
- Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment and mentor other team members
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results across organizational boundaries
