In our facility in Niepołomice we are desigining, manufacturing and testing engine controllers and cabinets.
Join our RPS team as a Staff Electrical Engineer.
- Electrical design and product engineering of Frequency-Converters / Control Cabinets and the related test infrastructure to be used in multi megawatt wind power plants
- Elaboration and review of related specifications and requirement documents
- Supporting and executing the system design phase, following structured design methods from customer clarification to final validation
- Using state of the art calculation / verification tools for the design of electrical systems to ensure the operation according to common standards and customer requirements
- Focus on cost efficient design while considering technological trends
- Maintain related BOMs and product documentation in the ERP and PLM-systems
- Cross-functional experience and thinking to embed other disciplines (software, mechanics, etc.)
- Following the applicable quality standards by using tools as e.g. DFSS, DFMEA
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of design problems and determining solutions to problems encountered
- Provide additional experience in system-thinking, conventional approach, customer collaboration, external networking
- Working on assigned tasks autonomously and able to work independently during commissioning
- Participation in international and multi-site projects
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Solid experience in the above mentioned key duties
- Be familiar with electrical components used in electrical switchboards, work experiences in related area is preferred
- More than 4 years of proven experience in industry
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well in English, orally and through written documentation
- Readiness to work overtime, international travel and perform other duties when required
- European driving license class B
