The role is focused on providing high level accounting, analysis, business and process support as well as delivering real time, accurate and relevant information within a customer focused environment. The role has direct impact on accounting of cost base of $570 MM which includes ESSA Senior leadership, Complex Expats packages, Stock option, RSU, Tax equalization package.
The role will provide right inputs to ESSA FP&A to enable forecast accuracy and better visibility around Compensation and benefit and other cos
- Provide key variance analysis and explanations to stakeholders and share insights to improve Forecast accuracy
- Own the delivery of Compensation & Benefits tracker through structured joint-effort and business partnering with Functions
- Support Planning and functions to understand actuals flows to better support cash flow and plan/forecast
- Month end close activities to include working closely with Planning and functions to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries
- Recommend accruals according to past month actual analysis
- Liaise with payroll teams internally including Global Mobility team and externally (PWC) to validate actuals and anticipate future changes
- Ensure accurate and timely reports are presented to stakeholders
- Primary contact for all Compensation & Benefits queries from Planning and Function Finance Managers
- Drive one pager monthly financial review with HQ leadership team. Explanation for variance to plan and trend
- Handle accounting treatment for complex Payroll related to Expats, RSUs and Stock option, Tax equalized employees
- Drive annual Bonus reconciliation Process. Liaise with 216 counter parties to collect or cross charge cost
- Liaise with Global Mobility to proactively accrue cost related to relocation and any benefits including into expats packages (e.g. school, rents, etc…)
- Ensure compliance to PepsiCo policy
- Ensure compliance to GCS
Qualifications / Requirements:
- An Accounting Qualification with 7+ years PQE, ACA/ACCA desirable
- 2-3 years experience in a Multinational Environment
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
- Strong IT aptitude
- Ability to integrate well within a team environment
- Experience of Financial Reporting Systems and Databases – SAP/ Oracle 11i/ Hyperion/HFM
- Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives
- Proven track record in applying business judgment, through experience and insight gained in large project and through the analysis of business cases from a business logic perspective
- Be a self starter and able to work autonomously as well as being flexible
- Exhibit a strong ‘can-do’, ‘will-do’ attitude and strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-motivated.
