For our Client European Border and Coast Guard Agency we are looking for:
Under supervision of the relevant line manager and reporting to the Head of Sector, the tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:
Support the establishment of model document and coordinate the review of the input by the member state and cooperating non EU countries border and coast guard national authorities. This review refers to the relevant provisions for the deployment of the European Border and Coast Guard Standing Corps as regards the applicable national legislation on use of force, consultation to national and international databases and permissible weapons and ammunition.
The content of the operational plans is governed by article 38(2)(d) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1896 of 13 November 2019 on the European Border and Coast Guard (OJ L 295, 14.11.2019, p. 1). Specific instructions to the members of the teams are a part of these requirements.
During primary phase of review to conduct the consultation with internal legal and operational units, involving also other internal business units whenever required.
The consultation would require to initiate and actively take part in the meeting(-s), coordinate their schedule, ensure the completeness of the input provided in terms of identified potential legislative issues and related follow up.
- successfully completed secondary education related to law, administrative or management
- at least 3 year of professional experience in finance, international law or
- diplomas of: General Administration, Business Management, Financial Management, Economics, Political Sciences/ European Studies or Social Sciences
- very good command of both written and spoken English (at least C1)
- knowledge and experience in working with databases
- experience in professional layout tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Acrobat Pro)
- strong sense of accuracy and attention to details
- ability to handle confidential matters and high level of discretion
- high responsibility and ability to take initiative
- high level of service orientation
- ability to work under pressure and experience in organizing work and prioritizing accordingly
- ability to communicate efficiently at all levels internally and externally and in appropriate manner
- ability to work in a team
