The CWT Hotel Solutions department delivers global consulting and sourcing services to corporate companies to assist them in optimizing their hotel spend. As member of the EMEA team, Business Analysts provide analytical support to Hotel Solutions Consultants, and interface with EMEA project teams to ensure successful completion of sourcing engagements.
To support its development, CWT Hotel Solutions is recruiting a new Business Analyst.
Main responsibilities:
- Data analysis and reporting
- Pre-sale analysis of client hotel data: current utilisation analysis, compliance analysis, opportunity analysis and outcome forecasting
- Market analysis of customers’ buying spectrum
- Forecasting & budgeting
- Post data import benchmarking and analysis: Results, Savings and Opportunities
- Ongoing programme analysis: Benchmarking and analysis during programme life
Note: Parts of these reports are produced through the use of CWT Hotel Solutions Group’s proprietary database and analysis tools – HARP (Hotel Automated Rate Programme) and ID Studios/Cognos.
- Creation of new tools and models
- Collect feedback from the team
- Support Optimization deliverables for the Solutions Group
- Develop and enhance models to maintain our innovative leadership within the industry
- Technical support to project leads for data and model issues
- Regular review of exiting tools, models and methodology and driving improvements and enhancements
- Provide technical support for issues with Optimization deliverables and for data consolidation issues
- Support the data consolidation needs
- Proactively engage with other departments within Solutions Group and CWT (e.g. Solutions Technology, CWT Product Development, etc.)
- Transform and cleanse client provided data into CWT supported format for loading to Solutions Datamart
- Answer project lead and client questions related to the data consolidation process

- Excel, Access – Mandatory / Level – Expert (VBA)
