- Responsible for translation of business requirements into system and process solution through definition of the technical design, customizing, interfaces, development specifications etc. in SAP MM and LE
- Responsible in his respective area in all stages of a project (workshops, developments, delivery, tests, cut over, hand-over to support organization, etc.)
- Serves as an interface between business and IT department or internal/external service providers (in- and off-shore)
- Provides support in the evaluation of planning and costs of the requirements
- Carries out customer trainings and support during the roll-outs
- Ensures consistency of proposed solutions with the core model
- Proactively identifies core model areas of improvement
- Leads work teams in his area of expertise
- Experienced in SAP SCM ERP (MM, LE) with deep knowledge of customizing of specified modules. Some knowledge in logistics for high-value retail goods and in SAP WM.
- At least 6 years of hands-on SAP SCM functional experience in functional lead role positions
- Very good Knowledge in inventory/warehouse interface (EDI, idocs,...)
- Understanding of SAP SCM specific master data
- Deep understanding of the business needs and processes. End-to End processes: order to cash and purchase to pay. Detailed processes: inventory, stock transfer, quality management, co-packaging, warehousing & transport mgmt., supplier & customer VMI
- Experience in the following processes is an advantage: sales order, availability check, collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment, shortage management, stock allocation, global ATP, retail store management
- Understanding of complete processes (beyond direct area of expertise) and multi-layer dependencies
- Good team player with proven skills in collaboration in non-hierarchical, international and cross-functional teams
- Strong at technical & functional analysis with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, with business as well as with IS/IT departments
- Self-assured, self-motivated, highly goal and delivery oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Structured working methods
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of German would be an advantage
