We are creating an SAP & IT competency center (GSO) providing IT services to Deutsche Telekom in Europe - a place full of ambitious people, creative ideas and positive energy.
Job Description:
- Responsible for translation of business needs into SAP FC system and process solutions through identification, harmonization and prioritization of the requirements
- Manage and perform maintenance, further development, bug-fixing and issue resolution in global SAP FC system, incl. development SQL rules and management the SQL database
- Assists in the IT architecture high level design, participation in the development of the financial reporting system (SAP FC)
- Influence on standardization of requirements in dedicated areas, ensures consistency of proposed solutions with the core model, communicates and stresses the benefits of standardization
- Development, implementation and modification of the reporting packages as well as of the consolidation process to meet the business reporting needs in collaboration with the operating department
- Provide operational SAP FC support for Corporate and IT shared service centers (Helpdesk)
- Leads discussion between different regions and markets as well as within the IT and cross company in his respective area of responsibility
- Long-term management of the user functionalities with system developments and software updates (Test & Productive environments)
Requirements:
- Experience in consolidation processes and in design and implementation of consolidation processes in IT tool
- Experience in SAP Financial Consolidation (FC) as an asset
- Experience in SQL programming
- Experience in financial accounting and controlling is a must as well as solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, financial reporting, GAAP, IFRS in international environment
- Knowledge in SAP BW, BO front-end tools and in additional SAP modules, mainly FI-CO desirable
- Solid support, implementation, configuration and functional and technical experience
- Fluent written and spoken English, German will be an advantage
- Willingness to travel
