Accountability:
Demands in Global Automotive Industry are continuously rising and amount of functionalities to be implemented using SW increases. On top of this, dynamics of car design drives creation and updates of many electronic components like Airbag Electronic Control Unit. Tasks & Goals:
- Coordination of SW projects and assigned teams;
- Project planning on local and global level in the Passive Safety product line;
- Resource and budget planning per business needs (people, financials, materials and infrastructure);
- Approval of SW releases and SW changes for serial production;
- Enforcing adherence of the team to defined processes and support in optimizing of the processes;
- Communication with groups like Hardware, Testing or Quality in area of planning & problem solving;
- Running employee assessment and employee development processes.
Requirements:
- University degree in SW engineering, electronics, computer science or similar;
- Good English knowledge;
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and conflict management skills;
- Analytical way of thinking, creative approach to problem solving;
- Experience in developing robust, real-time embedded software;
- Good knowledge of SW engineering processes and methodologies as used in industry;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project/team management area.
