Join our Engineering (Engine Systems) team as an Software Engineer for Embedded Applications.
You are given the great opportunity to join our Team of professionals. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to design embedded software based on state of the art technology for control applications.
- Designing and developing embedded software for ARM®/PowerPC®-based platforms
- Participating in design process of modern industrial electronics hardware
- Performing requirements capture, analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, software integration and verification
- Solving integration issues that involve multiple code modules, code bases, and/or multiple developers
- Work closely to the Hardware, EMC and System Engineers as well as other multinational team members
- Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electronics Engineering
- 3 - 4 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in C and C++
- Experience in development of applications for Real-Time Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Python would be beneficial
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, UML, Design Patterns and Emergent Design would be a strong benefit
- Experience in Test-Driven development would be a plus
- Expert use of appropriate engineering tools for all aspects of the development life cycle (compliers, debuggers, measurement equipment, etc.)
- Solid teamwork abilities (in an Agile team)
- Fluent English
