Software engineering position with Design for Test (DFT) Division. The DFT Division of Mentor Graphics provides, among other tools, industry-leading Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), Embedded Deterministic Test (EDT) tools and Built-in-Self Test tools to rapidly growing market. The candidate is responsible to develop new solution for DFT problems. Tasks will include problem analysis, software architecture design, prototyping, and implementation. Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who will relentlessly pursue product excellence. Strong communication and organization skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently, yet effectively in a team setting.
- A PhD degree (with 2+ years experience in the industry), MS (with 4+ years experience) or BS (with 6+ years experience) degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong software engineering experience.
- Excellent analytical and software development skills, including knowledge of C and C++ and UNIX/LINUX skills, and skills at developing of new algorithms and data structures.
