ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Software Developer performs both front and back-end operations on internal applications and computer systems. They design front-end applications and ensure they collaborate well with their design elements and contribute to projects. Additionally, they will be required to evaluate the needs of users and analyze any technical issues in order to program highly functional systems. Lastly, they will perform maintenance on in-house developed critical factory applications and integrations.
- Maintain and upgrade software or applications following deployment.
- Contribute to the writing, building, and deployment of software or applications.
- Perform automated testing and provide feedback to management during the development process.
- Modify and test changes to previously developed programs
- Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks for Company applications and software
- Work on minor bug fixes, as well as writing reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
- Knowledge with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery and LESS.
- Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net and Java (required), Ruby and Python (preferred).
- Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Postgresql and MySQL. (required).
- GCP or other cloud experience (preferred).
- Excellent written and communication skills in English (required).
- Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it.
