Several laws and regulations require Nordea to send securities and derivatives transactions to authorities and you have a chance to make this happen in addition to helping our customers to meet their compliance requirements. You will learn more about financial instruments, technical skills on SQL and have a great opportunity to become an expert on the ever growing area of regulation.

Welcome to the Transaction Reporting Services team. We add value by keeping Nordea and our customers compliant with local and EU regulations by sending out information of security and derivative trades executed in Nordea. We do this by uploading trade reports, confirming the validity of exceptions highlighted by the authorities, escalating customer static data issues to customer responsible units and producing data for root cause analysis when our incoming data quality is not perfect. As Service Operations Officer, you’ll play a valuable role in taking care of our routines, enabling the whole team to improve quality and continuously improve, with the ambition to continuously deliver even better experiences for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily reporting of trade level data and statistics to the regulators incl. the Finnish FSA
- Helping with customer requests
- Produce statistics of exceptions, enabling thorough analysis
- Correcting errors in transaction reports on daily basis
- Ensure that the processes in scope are executed in a timely manner with high quality
- Proposing and implementing improvement initiatives, optimizing and standardising daily tasks
You’ll join a team of business analysts and controllers who focus on keeping Nordea compliant with transaction level regulatory reporting. We report information about security and derivatives transactions, like stock, bond and FX derivative transactions to the Finnish FSA and other authorities. The role is based in Łódź.

Your experience and background:
- Great communication skills in English, both in writing and verbally
- STEM or Finance related university degree or equivalent professional experience
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Interested in the securities and derivatives area
- Excel, macro and SQL knowledge will be an asset
