We are looking for a SEO specialist to assist in managing search engine optimization activities in coordination with external agencies, internal marketing and IT departments, and the SEO manager.
You should be comfortable with development and implementation of schema markup, structured data, XML sitemaps, technical SEO audits, tactics to improve page load speed, and overall technical/non-technical SEO trends.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics data utilizing Google Analytics, SEO tools (BrightEdge, MOZ, GSC, Screaming Frog, etc.), data visualization tools (DOMO or Tableau) to provide actionable recommendations to improve organic presence
- Develop and implement schema markup strategy working with web producers and web developers
- Creation and maintenance of XML sitemaps for multiple domains
- Work with the development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code/features with a focus on accessibility and page load speed
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve organic position in SERPs and drive channel revenue and quality traffic growth
- Develop and implement link building strategy and create best practice guides/trainings for marketing teams
- Provide recommendations and best practices to product marketing and content teams for: landing page creation, images/video optimization, and more
- Perform regular QA of web analytics data and assist in producing ad-hoc reports
- Occasionally perform keyword research and on-page content optimization working in coordination with marketing teams
- 1-3 years of SEO experience, ideally in B2C and B2B with a strong focus in technical SEO
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to influence others
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Preferred: knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript constraints
- Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Sitecore) and/or an enterprise eCommerce platform (Magento, Demandware, or BigCommerce) is a plus
