The Engineering Center in Bielsko-Biała as an independent unit focuses on designing mechatronic systems, prototype production and testing as well as acoustic and mechanical validation and software development for electric power steering systems (EPS). We currently employ approximately 170 people.
For the new project, we currently look for: SENSOR PRODUCT ENGINEER - HARNESS

Design and development of electric power steering (EPS) electro-mechanical sub-assemblies containing torque and angle sensor (TAS) or torque only sensor (TOS) modules mounted to a mechanical shaft assembly for core projects and customer applications. Support manufacturing plants and production issues
- Design simple wiring harnesses for electric power steering systems for column and rack type systems and release drawings into PDM system in support of colleagues in the UK and US,
- Generate, review and update wiring harness design requirements and validation specifications for distribution to component suppliers,
- Support customer application teams around the globe in the design and development of torque sensor harnesses to meet customer requirements and packaging,
- Review customer requirements documentation and make compliance statements as input to systems engineering team,
- Work with commodity, purchasing and potential suppliers during the sourcing process to review and approve technical feasibility,
- Support customer application teams around the globe in the design and development of torque sensor harnesses to meet customer requirements and packaging,
- Act as primary sensor engineering team support for issue resolution during design validation (DV) and production implementation phases,
- Review and approve supplier DVP&R documentation during component PPAP
- Bachelors degree or similar engineering qualification with emphasis on electrical, electronic, mechanical or mechatronic systems,
- Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive engineering industry, preferably: experience in designing simple wiring harnesses for signal and power connections,
- Experience in reading and creating 2D drawings according to ISO GD&T standards,
- Familiar with: PLM / PDM System (preferably Integrity & Windchill), DFMEA (preferably in APIS IQ), USCAR automotive connector standards,
- Designing skills, nice to have: experience in designing of plastic and / or sealed components (Catia V5)
