We are seeking a talented, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our global Analytics team as a Senior Web Analyst. In this role you will leverage your expertise to provide insights about our customers' behavior to various stakeholders including senior management. Employees in this role are trusted advisers to the global eCommerce team and help them prioritize the optimization of QIAGEN's websites. The Senior Web Analyst is expected to proactively support quantitative projects to capture insights on trends, customers' needs and behaviors, and driving actions across the company through timely, impactful deliverables.
Specific Responsibilities May Include:
- Analyze website behavior, KPI trends and engagement with new and existing functionalities to derive insights and recommendations that drive QIAGEN's business performance.
- Guide the customer experience enhancement work through data-driven insight. Have a constant eye on the future by highlighting potential opportunities and making recommendations for change as part of a continuous feedback loop.
- Consult and support global marketing teams and product departments regarding establishment of state of the art tracking concepts for marketing, ensure that all relevant campaign KPIs can be tracked, monitor and report on results, and distill insights and learnings to improve quality of future campaigns.
- Support day-to-day activities of digital experience teams by automating reports, managing dashboards and performing deep-dive analyses.
- Readiness to work on a limited employment contract (maternity cover till the end of April 2020).
- Relevant professional work experience as (web) analyst (min 2 years).
- Advanced SQL skills in combination with a highly numerate and analytical mindset with a focus on the customer and the commercial benefits of making changes.
- Experience in using enterprise level digital analytics solutions, ideally Adobe Analytics, to support business decisions.
- Confident communication skills, able to translate complex information into concise and usable insights across a diverse stakeholder group though a variety of means (visual, verbal and written).
- Experience in using SQL-based visualization tools (e.g. Qlik, SFDC Einstein).
- Master's degree in an analytical field.
- Strong customer focus, ability to work in teams, service mindset, proactive and hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills, German is a plus.
- Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and translate them into relevant data products to inform strategy and decision making.
- Can-do attitude, good sense of humour and strong personality.
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments with very diverse teams.
