Join our Aerospace Electronics team as Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to design and develop airborne embedded software for new generation engine controllers.
- Create software verification strategies and test procedures to verify software functional requirements
- Develop customer counterpart applications to efficiently test the functionality of new aircraft controllers
- Architect, design, develop and test of moderate to high complexity, highly integrated software systems
- Designing and developing embedded software under Real-Time Operating System control
- Performing requirements capture, analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, software integration, verification and maintenance
- Plan, build and lead the technical creation and maintenance of test infrastructures
- Cooperate with System, Verification and Platform Engineers in international teams
- New technologies evaluation
- Must have:
- 12 years+ of proven experience in embedded software development
- Strong experience authoring C language
- Experience in development of applications for Real-Time Operating Systems
- Experience using standard SW engineering tools (VCS, issue tracking, IDEs, CM)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong technical leadership abilities: thought-leadership and strategic-leadership
- Effective communication skills in English
- Would be a plus:
- Experience in software/system verification
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Hands-on experience utilizing RTCA/DO-178
- Experience in development of Safety Critical applications
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile-based approach to SW development
