The Senior Specialist, Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery will – Global will work directly with the Global Director, Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery and will be responsible for conducting business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, and disaster recovery activities across the enterprise. Duties include the preparation for, response to, and mitigation of business interruption events to protect customers, business operations, and employees across a global portfolio of products and services.
- Leading efforts regarding the development, maintenance and testing of all associated components and processes of the Business Resiliency Program, which include Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Business and Disaster Recovery.
- Act as liaison for all matters related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Maintain the business impact analysis that identifies and prioritizes business functions, departments, processes, dependencies, applications, and other factors that define the business and IT processes.
- Perform risk assessments for both internal functions and vendor controls that address the specific business continuity and disaster recovery risks and incorporate into the overall Information Technology and enterprise risk ratings and architecture.
- Cooperate with Information Technology teams in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans with essential IT assets and systems.
- Manage and perform in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises including, but not limited to, call tree exercises, testing policies/procedures, tabletop walkthroughs, functional tests, integrated testes, workspace recovery, pandemic, vendor related and crisis management exercises.
- Use of business continuity and disaster recovery planning tools including, but not limited to, automated notification systems (i.e. xMatters), business continuity management planning software (i.e. LDRPS, Archer) and other business continuity/disaster recovery services.
- Knowledgeable with Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and ISO standards, as well as other compliance rules and regulations.
- Minimum 3 years direct experience building Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery plans, conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and facilitating departmental and enterprise risk evaluation activities.
- A Business Continuity Industry certification are highly preferred (e.g. ABCP, FBCI, CBCP).
- Ability to consistently work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of matters.
- Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences
- Solid understanding of program or project management methodologies.
- Experience in understanding and creating process flows and dependency mappings.
- Ability to train business and Information Technology teams on creating and updating business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Fluent bilingual communication (Polish and English) skills highly preferred. Any other European languages will be appreciated.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
