- Developing software for frequency converters regenerative power generation by wind turbines
- Creating functional specifications based on customer specifications, standards and guidelines
- Designing, implementing and testing of frequency converter functions and on-site field testing
- with the customer
- Supporting the sales, service, purchasing and engineering departments in the task area
- Usage of DOORS as a requirements management system
- Implementing fieldbus systems, state machine and analysis software
- Usage of HIL, SIL and EXAM to check the created software modules
Qualification:
- Dipl.-Ing. or MSc.in electrical engineering (with emphasis on drive technology or power electronics) or comparable degree
- Knowledge and several years of professional experience in the field of power electronics - especially 3-phase IGBT converters in electric drive systems
- Knowledge and several years of professional experience in the field of electrical machines in drive systems as well as understanding of electrical machines
- Experience in the calculation of stationary, 1-phase and 3-phase AC circuits
- Experience with Matlab / Simulink
- Experience in using Software Configuration System, preferred by Perforce
- Scripting languages knowledge of automating build processes and testcases, Python preferred
- Knowledge in C / C ++
- Understanding of FPGA toolchains
- Knowledge of the dynamics of electrical systems
- Experience with power electronic components
- Experience in implementing control algorithms in DSP (C) and FPGA (VHDL) is an advantage
- Solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in international teams
- Good English language skills
