Almost 200 employees have already joined the ranks of the new financial center, whose headquarter is located in Poznan.
The Polish financial center is a part of GSK global operating model, responsible for serving the European region in terms of Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities, as well as more complex accounting activities. Similar two units, responsible for serving Americas, as well as for Asia and Australia, are located in Costa Rica and Malaysia respectively. Our regional finance hubs will be centers of expertise that will work together as one finance team to share best practice and knowledge, working closely with other markets and colleagues from our global headquarters in London.
Currently, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Senior Reporting Specialist for the CoE (Treasury Accounting as a main area, potentially would be additional areas like Fixed Assets, Master Data, Payroll).

- You will be a part of the Center of Expertise Team dedicated to Treasury Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, Master Data (in the long term you could be involved in other areas).
- You will ensure timely delivery of GSK IFRS reporting, perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations and controls for a given set of markets;
- The partnership with Local Finance Stakeholders will be your key area of focus; to inform financial decisions you will provide financial results and balance sheet overviews and perform relevant complex analyses;
- You will cooperate with the BPO partner on a daily basis and build the relationship that will bring efficiency to C&C processes; that would also include designing and monitoring KPIs and SLAs and proposing further service improvements;
- You will contribute to finance control environment and ensure that controls for your area are compliant with internal procedures and SOX requirement and you respond to internal and external audit queries;
- Basic qualifications:
- Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of area of specialization (Fixed Assets, Treasury Accounting, Payroll, Master Data)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related industries or similar roles
- Experience in financial reporting
- Experience in Control/SOX environment
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Ability to work independently and within the team
- Client-oriented attitude
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Audit/Accounting Firm preferred
- SAP experience will be a strong asset
- A second European language is a bonus
