We are looking for:
- The Senior Payroll Specialist will work with the payroll team to provide proactive administrative and payroll support to employees of BD
- Takes full responsibility for an accurate Payroll
- Responsible for the input of variable data on a monthly basis
- Work with the HR Managers to ensure payroll deadlines are met
- Provide data as required for external parties, such as the HMRC, payroll provider etc.
- First point of call for all payroll related queries
- Administering and supporting new employee induction processes
- General administrative duties
- Collation of information and preparation of weekly and monthly reports on a timely basis
- Completes SAP invoicing for the function
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by the HR Managers
- Fluent command of English
- Very good knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish
- Experience of working within a fast paced HR environment
- Demonstrable payroll experience, with experience of HR databases/payroll systems (ADP Freedom and Workday)
- Excellent administration, organisation and planning skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Conscientious approach to work
- Effective customer service skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive information in an appropriate and confidential manner
- Flexible in approach to work and able to cope with changing priorities and demands
- Computer literate with excellent Microsoft office skills including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- The ability to work accurately to strict deadlines with minimal supervision
- Team member, willing to act on behalf of team
- Experience in SAP will be an advantage
