- Responsible for daily and bi-weekly processing of payroll including hours loads, calculations, confirmations and check processing; monthly processes including leave accruals
- Dayforce HCM daily data entry
- Responsible for PeopleSoft Job Data status updates for all types of leave as requested and approved by benefits department
- Processes all job data record corrections as receive from practices and departments
- Responsible for Canadian payroll processing, transmitting, and reconciliations to include T-4 year end processing; other US payroll processing as needed
- Running PeopleSoft queries for various payroll reconciliation purposes
- Benefit Adjustment entry and processing
- General Deduction setup and maintenance
- Processing of garnishments as required by applicable laws
- Assist with payroll close reconciliations and pushes to PeopleSoft Finance
- Payroll process improvements
- Assist with Tax Upgrades in the areas of testing and process changes
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- Tracking and communication around international employee transfers
- Cooperation with payroll provider
- Team Leader support for daily duties
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
- 1-3 years' experience in Payroll experience in an organization with 150 or more employees
- PeopleSoft/SAP/Dayforce knowledge good to have
- Experience in cooperation with payroll providers.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Education in the field of finance / accountancy will be a plus
