Senior Oracle/ETL Developer

Responsibilites
- Providing technical development and production support for applications owned by Global Treasury
- Support of strategic change projects, enhancements for continuous improvements
- Providing application development for the delivery of technical solutions required by business users from Global Treasury
- Analyze, design, develop, implement and support a variety of scripting languages and ETL tools
- Develop technical and functional specifications for data acquisition, transformation and load processes from a variety of data sources
- Performing functional and regression testing on new and enhanced application functionality
- Design, develop, test and maintain solid solutions and architecture for handling incoming and outgoing data flows.
Requirements
Must have:
- 4+ years' experience as a technical developer, including 2 years of extensive application development experience
- Strong programming skills including application development abilities using Oracle/SQL
- Experience in OBIEE
- Familiarity with Informatica ETL tools desired
- Demonstrated abilities for drafting detailed technical designs and test cases from functional specifications
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize data processes. Make recommendations for continuous improvement of the data processing environment
- Experience working in Unix environment
- Exposure to batch scheduling packages such as Control-M
- Java development skills and experience is a plus
- Strong problem solving skills
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, specially scrum is desirable
- Experience working with source control tools (Subversion, Source Safe, etc.)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in team environment and act as a mentor and coach to junior team members
- Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline, or comparable industry experience

The project runs on Oracle 11g in a Unix/Linux environment, and the ETL routines are written using Informatica, PL/SQL and Java.
