Senior .NET Developer

• Maintenance and enhancements of a wide range of tools that are used to administer and automate both legacy & strategic Database Ecosystem environments
• Development and Maintenance of Web Services Development and Maintenance of Web GUIs
• Integration of AD services and functions with a wider set of processes & tools
• Workflow development
• Maintain existing tools
• Collaborate with peer Technology teams (e.g. OS Engineering, Storage, Networks and Systems Management)
• Integrate tightly into the working processes of global DB Engineering, Platform Development and Provisioning
• Contribute to security baselines, patch and vulnerability policies and lifecycle management guidelines

Must have:

• At least 3 years of experience in Application Development or Systems Architecture with a focus on developing .NET solutions
• Experience developing multi-tier applications with .NET languages (C# experience preferred)
• Experience/understanding of programming and using Web services, SOAP, XML, SAML, REST
• General understanding of Directory Services inc. LDAP
• SQL development experience (T-SQL, Reporting Services)
• Large organization experience preferred (does not have to be financial service)
• Working Experience in International Teams
• Problem Solving and Cross-Technical Integration
• University degree in computer science or equivalent
• Ability to work efficient and drive results under pressure
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Development and Improvement of in-house Scripts used by DB Operations based on Perl
• IT Infrastructure Engineering or Database Skills
• Working Experience in Large Financial Organizations
• Problem Solving and Cross-Technical Integration
• Kerberos / Active Directory Authentication
• MSSQL or Oracle experience
• Sybase experience
• Experience in Automation, Testing, defining Standards
