Senior Manager Procure-to-Pay
Location: Wrocław

The successful candidate will lead the operations teams responsible for procurement, invoice processing and vendor query management across Europe, Middle East and Africa. As the organization leader, this role is responsible for the operational framework of P2P in the region, represent the team in leadership forums, drive stakeholder engagement and own people management within the team.

Main objective of role
  • Drive global KPI’s within the teams and own glide path to a best in class per global benchmarks
  • Own the monthly/quarterly recons and account clearing to ensure full adherence to SOX/audit requirements
  • Own the vendor experience end to end while driving the vendor strategy per global initiatives
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders such as procurement, finance, plants, sales; drive effective governance to ensure a no surprise operating environment
  • Ensue adherence to the global end-to-end procure to pay process and technology design; drive best practice sharing across the global partner teams
  • Own management of change associated with global/regional transformation within teams and regional stakeholder community
  • Champion continuous improvement within teams and amongst stakeholders to deliver annual savings through technology enabled automation
  • Set clear vision for the P2P Function, ensuring it is clearly communicated to all SSC staff and key stakeholders
  • Prepare annual business plan and budget for the P2P Function within the SSC
  • Manage, plan and organize the operational framework for the P2P function
  • Recommend and implement new processes, procedures or operational improvements to meet operational needs and improve accuracy and efficiency of the P2P services
  • Own work standards across the team roles, develop objectives, and operating procedures for P2P processes
  • Ensure policies, processes and operating procedures are clearly defined, up-to-date and documents
  • Diligently follow up to ensure that all deadlines are met, and that management is routinely apprised of progress and issues
  • Negotiate and agree service level agreements (SLAs) for P2P processes with all key stakeholders
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are clearly defined for each process performed by the P2P function and well communicated within the team and amidst stakeholders
  • Ensure service delivery meets performance/quality standards defined in service level agreements and KPI improvement glide path.
  • Driven a data driven operating eco system covering – regular performance reports, trend analysis and procurement analytics
  • Ensuring the P2P team is staffed with the appropriate skills and levels of staff to meet the demands of the business and volumes of transactions
  • Develop career path for employees with a special focus on developing high potential employees and succession planning
  • Lead by example and coach other people managers in the team on leadership standards
  • Set the performance related goals aligned to the organization priorities and review progress regularly
  • Resolve performance capability and/or development needs that may arise within the P2P team
Requirements
  • Must have strong P2P experience, preferably in a multinational Shared Services environment
  • Extensive people manage experience in accounts payables or procurement teams
  • In-depth knowledge of P2P processes
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent supplier or customer service skills working
  • Strong analytical skills with business and financial acumen
  • Effective in high pressure situations and ability align team focus amidst competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong consulting and executive presentation abilities
  • Ability to drive and manage changes within the organization
  • Championed and lead continuous improvement initiatives in P2P
  • Fluency in other European languages
  • Leading and managing the transition of countries into a Shared Services Operation
  • Possess professional qualification within the domains of supply chain, finance, accounting
  • Ability to work and deliver collaboratively across a complex global matrix
