Senior Java Developer / Technical Leader

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in Java development.
- Extensive knowledge of Java SE and Java EE.
- Practical knowledge of Test-Driven Development.
- Practical knowledge of technologies/frameworks: MVC/Spring; JavaScript/extJS, Java Persistence- related technologies (ie. Hibernate); And and Maven
- Practical knowledge of topics related with Databases: PL/SQL, Oracle DB.
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferably SCRUM).
- Experience in creating architecture and application design.
- Experience in team management and strong leadership skills.
- Experience in collaboration with customers.
- University degree in Information Technology (or similar).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of development/collaboration tools: JIRA, Git
- Experience in creating enterprise-class applications.
- Experience in working with remote teams.
- Practical knowledge of German and/or French languages.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and reviewing architecture and implementation design based on requirements.
- Implementing enterprise-class solutions for customers based on requirements.
- Management of development teams including:
- Providing support (advice, guidance, assistance and training) to team members with a particular focus on less experienced colleagues, mainly in technical fields.
- Responsibility for proper planning, implementation and testing of the solution through all stages of a project's lifecycle.
- Problem solving during all phases of a project's lifecycle.
- Active communication with customers.
