We are now looking for a Senior Java Developer in Intraday Liquidity Risk Management Team to support us in delivering high quality IT solutions, as well as supporting us in Agile ways of working.

Welcome to the Development Gdansk D team. Our key goal is to be compliant with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision regulations that drives how banks should manage and report their intraday liquidity risk. You will play a valuable role in our Agile team by designing and developing solutions in the ILRM application that meet business requirements, propose appropriate way of implementation, testing and releasing the new features.
What you’ll be doing:
- Challenging solutions, requirements and processes to make improvements
- Interacting with other developers, teams and stakeholders to create the best possible solutions
- Supporting development team, by developing, testing, reviewing solutions
- Keeping an eye on potential areas for refactoring and addressing technical debt
- Supporting, introducing and developing test automation
You’ll join the development team that cooperates closely with the Product Owner and other business representatives. The role is based in Gdańsk while the team is geographically distributed across Poland, Nordics and India.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have ability to drive and support activities across the delivery team
- Are effective in verbal and written communication in English
- Are willing to support other team members. Agile mindset is also very important
- Have 5+ years of experience with IT projects
- Have 3+ years of experience as an IT Developer
Your experience and background:
- Knowledge and experience in Java, Spring, SQL
- Experience with one or more JAVA Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit
- Experience with integration technologies like Kafka will be a plus
- Familiarity with Linux Operating System
- Knowledge and ability to use Clean Code principles
- Familiarity with tools like Bamboo, GIT, Jira
- Work experience as Technical lead will be a plus
