We are looking for experienced developer who has solid IT fundamentals and know IT widely. Members of System Teams are experts and seniors in: software development, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
60% of their bandwidth is spent on solving architectural problems and building tools for feature teams which improve and automate development processes. 30% of their bandwidth is spend on coding and reviewing code. 10% is spend on release management and continuous delivery while releasing software into production environments. System team is a last line of support for feature teams. Releases are happening regularly and according to our release plan.

Welcome to K2 team which is a system team in one of our top projects called Home Journey.
This project serves many applications and services which all together offer Nordea’s clients well working online banking products: e-mortgages, loan-promise, credit-case, ‘what can I afford’. There are also onboarding services which allows to become a Nordea’s client.
As a member of system team you will assure quality of software, good timing for releases and will continuously invest in improving delivery process of microservices and applications toward live-production.
Our developers works mainly with Java and Angular technologies. Are proactive in communication. Oriented on IT automation and focused on delivering well technically designed microservices.
- Work together with product owners, business developers, architects and other developers on building features for banking applications. We work strictly and with dedicated team to achieve our goals.
- As a remember of Agile Release Train you will drive IT Automation and DevOps culture in a train.
- Deeply analyse code. Support feature teams in improving better results in development
- You will use: IntelliJ IDE, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, ArgoCD.
You’ll join one of the strongest project in Nordea which is working fully in line with SAFe framework (A Scaled Agile for Lean Enterprises).

- You know how to be effective in java programming
- You have ability to design and build integration processes and pipelines for software development
- You will explore existing Continuous Integration deeply - understand how the system is built and how the components work together. We need developers who want to automate the processes and eliminate redundant work from developers’ desks
- You will be able to implement and present the complete solution during demos and IP sprints while PI plannings
- We are looking for developers who are passionate on DevOps, automatic deployments and have fun while playing with CI/CD pipelines in bigger IT eco-systems
Must have:
- Solid computer science fundamentals - data structures, architecture, design patterns
- Solid knowledge of Java (ver. 1.8 and higher)
- Knowledge of Spring framework (MVC, Boot, Security, Data, Profile, Security), JPA, Hibernate
- SQL
- Strong knowledge of Microservices’s architecture (REST API, Queuing, Monitoring)
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Eager to learn new technologies and toolchain
Good to have:
- DevOps experiences from other IT companies
- Splunk, AppDynamics for the purpose of logging, measuring and diagnosing applications
