For our Client – an international automotive company, we are looking for Senior IT Analyst - SAP SD.
Summary: Analyzes system requirements in the order to cash area as they pertain to business processes. Documents functional requirements, installs, tests, documents, and maintains application components as required. Assists with local user support, training and service desk functions, as required. Provides technical feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis when needed. Provides team coordination, technical meeting facilitation, and task management functions for projects as required.
Responsibilities:
- Performs business analysis of Systems and follows through the full development life cycle.
- Translates business needs into technical requirements.
- Prepares the functional business definition.
- Performs configuration tasks within SAP.
- Prepares test scenarios and conducts system integration testing and regression testing for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Coordinates work with other IT groups.
- Leads system implementations for assigned area.
- Initiates and participates in identifying opportunities for business process redesign utilizing SAP delivered applications and modules.
- Educates others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting tools within functional areas.
- Resolves assigned (functional) service desk tickets within the assigned application areas.
- Prepares and delivers system and process training as required.
- Coordinates, implements, and communicates system change requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4 year University Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent Engineering or Business Degree.
- 4+ years of experience working in the appropriate business process with a good understanding of the business /systems concepts.
- Experience in business process analysis, standardization and optimization. Experience with tools like Lean Manufacturing, TMS, and Six Sigma a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with the relevant systems (e.g. SAP), Extensive experience of project methodology including planning, testing and documentation standards.
- Experience providing technical and functional training courses.
- Excellent organizational and task management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Business processes.
- TEN leadership skills.
- Consulting and negotiating skills.
- Ability to direct efforts of others in remote (foreign country) locations in different time zones.
- Capable of applying a comprehensive requirement elicitation process and track those requirements all the way through the development and testing processes.
- Proven skills in conflict management, presentations, financial calculations, developing quality and comprehensive business cases, delegation, coaching & development, Excel / Word / PowerPoint / MS Project, decision making, control and follow-up, organizing and planning.
- Ability to establish good business relations at different levels in a virtual organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in the sales and distribution processes of the Automotive Industry are a plus.
- Additional basic knowledge in one other language German, French or Spanish is preferred in some regions.
- Ability to travel – on average 25%.
