About us
Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. IS has achieved great success and grown rapidly since the establishment of our first service center in Krakow in 2004. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 1,600 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.
Job description
- Supporting a global infrastructure environment,
- Daily Operation Management: logfile analysis and backup review and planning,
- Scripting and task automation,
- Multi-technology troubleshooting,
- Proactive and strategic (re)design of the IT landscape,
- Capacity planning,
- Documentation,
- Flexible working times.
Candidate’s profile
- Good level of English
- Experience in supporting a global infrastructure environment,
- Knowledge of Linux RedHat 6.x (i.e. Apache, Postfix, Dovecot, LVM),
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2 (i.e. clusters, NLB, IIS, Active Directory) will be an asset,
- Knowledge of virtualization concepts, primary focus on VMware technologies,
- Understanding of general backup and storage concepts:
o NetApp SnapProtect
o NetApp OnCommand Unified Manager - Understading general hardware concepts, preferably Cisco UCS blades and HP rack-mounted servers,
- Having basic knowledge of networks, IPv4 (addressing, subnetting, routing),
- Knowhow of management tools (e.g. WSUS, SEP),
