About this opportunity
Welcome to the Technology & Security Architecture team. You will add value by working closely with the organization of the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and the Cybersecurity team within Technology as a trusted technical and process security advisor, and as a mentor who guides and aligns the various initiatives toward a unified approach to support security needs. You will employ a collaborative approach to solving complex issues and exhibiting a strong customer focus for internal stakeholders. As an experienced Senior Information Security Architect, Poland you will play a valuable role in the team responsible for setting and driving security architecture blueprints, along with technical standards, for the overall bank.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide technical and architecture security guidance to initiatives. This includes the creation of architecture and technical documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level / Technical Design (SDD) artefacts. Familiarization with the organization’s existing Information Security guidelines will be necessary.
- Review proposed solutions for security soundness and compliance with the organization’s Information Security guidelines before their release to the Production environment.
- Devise current and future-state architecture blueprints for IT security, Information Security and Cybersecurity. It includes documenting and diagramming conceptual, logical and physical architectures for runtime environments located on-premises and in the Cloud.
- Develop security principles and patterns so that they can be used by initiatives for guidance when designing solutions. This includes the use of industry standard security architecture frameworks to ensure security controls are well integrated and meet the quality attributes of confidentiality, integrity and availability as expected.
- Participate in shaping the bank’s security architecture vision and strategy. Ensure that security architecture tightly aligns to the bank’s business needs, investments and technology strategies while driving the organization towards its desired state.
- Work with the Cybersecurity team to guide the selection, acquisition, design, development, and implementation of integrated solutions & security controls.
- With knowledge about the ever-changing trends of the industry, derive inventive security architectural approaches that utilize proper security controls to meet both ongoing and emerging threats.
The role is based in Warsaw.

Your experience and background:
- 5+ years of experience as a security architect or engineer; Experience with at least one of the industry standard security architecture frameworks, e.g. SABSA, NIST, etc.
- Solid experience in technology and security risk management; Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, IAM, IPS, IDS, and security controls, just to name a few
Asymmetric & Symmetric cryptography technologies, tokenization, data redaction and DLP technologies
Cloud experience is a must, preferably with AWS and Azure
Experience with security technologies including Cisco, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Splunk, and CyberArk
Experience in HSM’s, secure enclaves, secure vault technologies, confidential computing is nice to have
Experience with zero trust architectures and solutions is a plus
Ability to collaborate with both technical and business aligned personnel - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as business acumen
- Basic knowledge od Polish is nice to have
