Senior Front End Engineer
Location: Warsaw
RESPONSIBILITIES
To work as part of the Front End Team, together with Designers, UX Experts and other business stake holders to deliver a world-class user experience on our SaaS based ecommerce and localisation platform.
MUST HAVE
- 3+ Years of commercial experience as a Front End Engineer
- Good knowledge of English ( B2/C1)
- The ability to work as part of a development team, giving and receiving feedback
- Has the ability to work closely and iteratively with UX Designers
- Good knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pixel perfect interpretation of designs into HTML & CSS
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working in an Agile development environment on multiple projects
- Experience within ecommerce, either for a retailer or platform provider
- Experience with and managing projects using JIRA
TECHNOLOGY
- Experience using mobile-first Responsive Web Design techniques and patterns
- Knowledge of app / browser performance and techniques
- Knowledge of semantic HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience in developing against RESTful APIs
- Good JavaScript programming skills and knowledge of fundamental concepts (closures, scoping, prototype, OOP, etc)
- Knowledge of programming design patterns - constructor, singleton, factory, facade
- Good knowledge of CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS
- Experience of writing code in ES6
- Experience of writing tests in JS (unit, e2e)
- Working knowledge of Source Control Management and branching strategy best practices. (Git)
- Experience with Javascript task runners - gulp, grunt, etc.
