For our Shared Service Center for Europe operating in Wroclaw we are currently looking for:
Your role: As Senior Fixed Assets Accountant in a global Shared Service Center, you perform Fixed Assets, inventory and cost center accounting for diverse and complex business operations. Moreover, you partner with divisions and local finance organizations to ensure the integrity of the Fixed Assets accounting data. You ensure all related financial activity is properly recorded in the Financial Services Statements and the ERP Fixed Asset sub ledger system, conduct reconciliations and provide reporting and analysis services to internal customers as assigned. You are responsible for accounting and reporting all activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures. In addition, as Senior Fixed Assets Accountant, you leverage your expertise to constantly seek out better ways of performing processes, to contribute to process excellence initiatives and to mentor more junior Fixed Assets Accounting team members.
Who you are:
- High school degree required
- Undergraduate degree in a business related discipline strongly preferred
- 3+ yrs. of experience in accounting/finance with direct related experience with full-cycle Fixed Assets or general ledger accounting responsibility required
- Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred
- Experience with Oracle, SAP or other ERP system required
- Fluent English and German language skills required
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and Excel skills required
