- System simulation of electric drive systems for wind turbines
- Creating functional specifications based on customer specifications, standards and guidelines
- Designing, implementing and testing of frequency converter control functions and field support during field tests with the customer
- Designing, implementing and testing of control functions for inverter test benches
- Programming of software modules and their testing in hardware / software-in-the-loop system simulations (HIL / SIL) and test benches
- Calculation and designing of machine filters
- Specification, selection and validation of the filter components
- Development of calculation and analysis programs for all aspects of the task area
- Analysis of quality problems in the field of control engineering with subsequent support in implementing suitable corrective measures
- Documentation of appropriate process development
- Supporting the sales, service, purchasing and engineering departments in the task area
- Scientific publications in specialist magazines and their presentation at specialist conferences
- Dipl.-Ing. or MSc. in electrical engineering (with emphasis on drive technology or power electronics) or comparable degree
- Knowledge and several years of professional experience in power electronics - especially 3- phase IGBT converters in electric drive systems
- Knowledge and several years of professional experience in the field of electric machines in drive systems; as well as an understanding in the modeling of electrical machines
- Experience in the calculation of stationary, 1-phase and 3-phase AC circuits
- Experience with Matlab / Simulink
- Experience with PLECS or various elements of the Matlab / Simulink Toolbox for power electronics, electrical machines and system modeling
- Experience in setting up control concepts for power grid and machine converters
- Experience in thermal modeling of semiconductor devices and their protection algorithms
- Knowledge of the dynamics of electrical systems
- Knowledge of the relevant regulations on "Power Quality and Grid Compliance"
- Experience with power electronic components
- Experience in implementing control algorithms in DSP (C) and FPGA (VHDL) is an advantage
- Solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in international teams
- Good English language skills
