This is a telecommuting opportunity (praca zdalna) available for candidates from any location. We already have an established team of embedded developers in Poland. - Participation in development of embedded system architectures
- Design, implementation and testing of embedded and signal processing hardware and firmware
- Preparation of system and interface level documentation
- Review of designs and participation in system level testing
- Collaboration with other team members in Poland and the US
- Participation in project meetings and reporting
- M.Sc or PhD degree in engineering, science or mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware and firmware design for embedded systems
- Fluency in microcontroller and DSP programming (ARM, SHARC, assembly, C, C++)
- Understanding of RTOS applications in embedded systems
- Experience in system design, data management and communication protocols (industrial, TCP/IP )
- Familiarity with system testing and troubleshooting techniques, experience with laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with electrical CAD
- English language proficiency sufficient to communicate verbally and in writing about relevant technical matters (company sponsored instruction offered)
- Ability to travel for team meetings in Poland and USA
- Analog/power circuit design and system fundamentals
- Wireless communication systems and protocols
- Experience with higher level programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Matlab)
- Interfacing with SQL databases
- Familiarity with programmable logic (CPLD, FPGA)
