Join our Aerospace Electronics Platform team as Senior Embedded Software Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to design and develop airborne embedded software for new generation engine controllers.
Key Essential Functions:
- Software development for aerospace controllers
- Design, support and test of moderate to high complexity, highly integrated software systems
- Designing and developing embedded software for SoCs based on ARM®/PowerPC® architectures:
- Bare metal and RTOS low-level programming
- Safety critical applications
- Performing requirements capture, analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, software integration, verification and maintenance
- Cooperate with Hardware, FPGA and System Engineers in international teams
- Design risk analysis
- New technologies evaluation
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- 8 years+ of proven experience in embedded software development
- Strong experience authoring C language
- Experience in development of applications for Real-Time Operating Systems
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile-based approach to SW development
- Hands-on experience utilizing RTCA/DO-178 is desired
- Experience in development of Safety Critical applications is desired
- Knowledge of scripting languages would be beneficial
- Experience using standard SW development tools (such as Git, Jira, Eclipse, etc.)
- Understanding VHDL and FPGA design seen as a plus
- Solid teamwork and communication abilities to operate effectively in the project team environment
- Effective communication skills in English
