Join our Electronics Platform team as Embedded Software Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and passionate engineer to design embedded software based on state of the art technology for control applications.

Key Essential Functions:
- Software development for industrial controls and drivers
- Designing and developing embedded software for SoCs based on ARM®/PowerPC® architectures:
- Distributed I/Os involving Real-Time Ethernet communication
- Bare metal and OS (Embedded Linux) low-level programming
- IoT for industrial controls
- Performing requirements capture, analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, software integration, verification and maintenance
- Cooperate with Hardware, EMC and System Engineers in international teams
- Leverage platforms for products to accelerate time to market
- New technologies evaluation
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4 years+ of proven experience in software development
- Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ code development
- Experience in development of applications for Real-Time Operating Systems
- Experience in Embedded Linux would be beneficial
- Knowledge of IoT concept and solutions would be a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages would be beneficial
- Knowledge of UML, Design Patterns and Emergent Design would be beneficial
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile-based approach to SW development
- Experience in VHDL and with FPGA seen as a plus
- Solid teamwork and communication abilities to operate effectively in the project team environment
- Fluent English
- Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
