Join our RPS Engineering team as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Wind Turbine Control:
DUTIES:
- Design of FPGA solutions for converter applications
- Hardware and Software Co-design
- Analyze Customer requirements and derive suitable solutions
- Perform root cause analysis in complex software architectures
- Implementation of fieldbus protocols like CANopen, Profinet via Anybus modules
- Create scripts for automatic build machines (Scons based)
- Develop and maintain software for multiprocessor architecture
- Use of simulation tools for FPGA logic
- Use of requirements managements systems like DOORS
- Collaboration in global team structures
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- More than 4 years of proven experience in industry
- C/C++, Python, VHDL
- Multiprocessor architecture
- Use and understanding of SCM systems (preferred knowledge is with Perforce)
- Use of requirements managements systems like DOORS
- Component based development
- Solid communication skills
- Solid navigation inside global team structure
- Operating system knowledge (Embedded Linux preferred)
