Nokia Siemens Networks European Software & Engineering Center is looking for motivated software professionals for Senior Software Engineer positions.

In European Software & Engineering Center in Wroclaw we create and maintain the embedded software for BTS/eNB. One of the main parts of the BTS software is BTSOM / BTS C-Plane system component, which handles operation and maintenance functionality of the base station. Our project contributes to LTE (4G) which is future mobile technology. The operating system used on the target hardware is a real time OS. BTSOM / BTS C-Plane software is written in C++ and designed in Rhapsody which is UML based model-driven development environment.

Position Description:

• elaborating concepts, proof of concept for SW architecture topics;
• contributing to implementation of proof of concepts;
• providing guidance and sharing with teams best SW developing practices especially in reference to OOD, design patterns & coding guidelines;
• coaching and proposing optimal solutions;
• providing advices and technical guidance while doing refactoring inside SW development teams.

Position Requirements:

• at least 3 years of commercial experience in SW development;
• very good knowledge of C++ and Linux;
• knowledge of multithreading programming;
• knowledge of design patterns, STL, boost;
• experience in white box testing;
• technical documentation writing experience;
• knowledge of UML (major advantage);
• deep understanding of OO Design paradigm;
• practice knowledge of English;
• communicative skills, open mind.
