About this opportunity
Welcome to the Master Data Quality team. We add value by being responsible for data quality measures, data quality developments and data quality improvements for customer and counterparty data in local legacy systems and in our new Customer and Counterparty Master (CCM) solution. We support business areas and data governance organisation to improve data quality, data management and increased compliancy and accuracy on reporting. As Senior Business Analyst you’ll play a valuable role in making a significant impact on data quality in Nordea. In Master Data Quality Team you will work in an Agile setup being part of the Master Data Management Agile Release Train (MDMART). You will have the opportunity to be a data guardian for all Nordea Customers making sure that we as a bank have the correct and accurate information.
What you’ll be doing:
- Data Quality tasks
- veryfing data sourced to CCM solution
- working with data verifications after deployments
- creating data extracts for our stakeholders
- Creating Data Quality Reports
- Being a Subject Matter Expert for Customer and Counterparty data
- Working with stakeholders on data quality related tasks
You’ll join a team that is working in an Agile setup. The role is based in Gdańsk; Gdynia; Helsinki.

- Possess good presentation skills
Your experience and background:
- Strong analytical background with excellent SQL skills (working with stored procedures) – minimum 5 years experience
- Experience from tools and platforms like R, python, HIVE/Hadoop or information analyser can be considered as an advantage
- Experience in IBM tools can be considered as an advantage
- Strong ability to learn and understand the architectural landscape around customer and counterparty data
- Experience in data quality related activities – minimum 3 years experience
- Experience as a business analyst – minimum 5 years experience
