For our partner, a Banking organization in Krakow, we are hiring a Business Analyst (Front Office and Traded Risk Support). The role fully remote.
Senior Business Analyst (Front Office, Traded Risk Support)
location: Remote Poland
Role:
- Produce detailed documentation of desk exit strategy for risk reduction (by product, risk type, hedging, timing), including quantification of both market risk and Credit/Counterparty Risk reduction;
- Produce narrative within booking model, quantifying and describing intercompany risk transfers and product types;
- Liaise with relevant FO/PC SME’s to improve documentation of existing KVA methodology and formulate proposals for methodology enhancements (e.g. product differentiation, forward discounting, other);
- Co-ordinate FO review and approval of PC-owned balance sheet segmentation approach / results
- Compile data and produce narrative to support impact analysis of credit downgrade triggers, specifically:
- Describing various types on balance sheet
- Describing methodology for quantifying impact and reporting procedure
- Comparison with liquidity reporting (with GM treasury)
Requirements:
- Global Markets business / product knowledge including risk management principles;
- Prior experience in front office / risk project roles;
- Prior exposure to SWD / Recovery & Resolution Planning / other similar Scenario-based impact assessment exercises strongly preferred;
- Strong communication / interpretation / documentation / analytical skills;
- Fluency in English
- Valid EU work permit
- Ability to star asap / 1 month
Nice to haves:
- Qualified project manager / extensive project management experience
- Extensive experience of delivering complex Finance Change programmes
- Capital expertise – ability to understand and assess the regulatory reporting requirements for Capital
- Ability to drive solutions across the Finance Operating Model and draw together subject matter resources from across the Bank to resolve issues as required
- Strong understanding of Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, often with competing deadlines
- Ability to act as the interface between the Business and IT Functions
