As an experienced Front-end Developer you can support Nordea on investing in various digitalised applications that are used by banking advisors to serve activities related to offering mortgages to our clients in Nordic countries.
We create Internal Application used by bank's mortgage advisors. We also create External Application used by bank’s customers to calculate mortgage costs.
About the team:
- Core teams are located in Nordics and Poland. Our offices in Poland are located in Gdynia and Warsaw. We want to build also one team in Łódź.
- Our scrum teams are developing banking applications based on backend in Java 1.8+ and front-end in Angular 12.
- We cooperate strongly with business owners in Nordics.
- All teams are agile. We are respecting Scrum on team level and SAFe 5.0 methodology on project delivery level.
As Front-end Developer you’ll be:
- Implementing new and modifying existing functionalities in front-end applications
- Cooperating with Back-End / Full-Stack Developers to deliver complete solutions for banking applications
- Reviewing front-end changes implemented by other developers
- Writing unit tests using Jasmine
- Performing regular reviews of existing code-base to propose improvements in front-end
- Communicating with Business (PO, PM), UI/UX Designers, Scrum Master, QA testers
- Designing and proposing front-end innovations
- Presenting implemented functionalities while demos
- Supporting releases for front-end components of banking applications.

To succeed in this role, you should give evidence that you code in:
- Angular 12
- Typescript 4
- CSS 3
- HTML 5
- RXJS, NGXS, Lodash
- REST API for WebServices
and:
- You have ability to lead and solve development tasks independently and also act proactively in your team
- You explore existing functionalities in projects, understand how the system is built and how the components work together
- You have fun while working on front-end applications
- You always look for improvements
- You ave understanding of release process and you take care about CDP (Continuous Delivery Pipeline).
- Fluent English is a must as we use it commonly and every day.

SOLID, GRASP, Clean Code, SDLC, BDD, TDD, CI, CD, Pair Programming, Code Reviews, FeatureToggles
And the following toolchain:
Confluence, IntelliJ, WebStorm, BitBucket (monorepo), SonarQube, ESLint, TSLint, Swagger, Jenkins, Nexus, NPM, Maven, Jasmine, Kubernetes (future)
