- Perform secondary research focusing on Industry X.0 topics and to some extent on A&D utilizing a number of sources, internal and external
- Retrieve, synthesize, package and present research findings according to the needs of the customer
- Ventures and Acquisitions (V&A) analysis: Identifying and Screening target companies based on Industry X.0 related technologies and capabilities
- Development of knowledge in major A&D or Industry X.0 industry segments (business acumen, key players, overall market trends) and technologies as well as deep understanding of relevant specialty sources. Knowledge of Product lifecycle management topics and engineering-related challenges will be an advantage.
- Support Accenture clients and business development teams with various pieces of analysis: Point of views, company profiles, Industry Newsletters, Market segment profiles, analysis of Accenture competitors, biographic profiles, issue-based research, data-driven research, financial analysis, business capability-related research (e.g. human performance, sales & marketing, outsourcing, etc.).
- Provide support to consultants in the use of internal and external resources, information sources and services.
- Consistently deliver high quality work within budget and on time.
- Identify new sources of relevant content and contribute to evaluations of external content for acquisition.
- Actively participate in general research responsibilities e.g. participating in Accenture Research workgroups at local, regional or global level etc.
- 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in strategy consulting, third-party research or Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) or demonstrated equivalent skill preferably in industries such as Aerospace & Defense / High Tech / Industrial / Manufacturing Tech etc.
- Knowledge of Engineering / Supply Chain / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) functions desirable
- Exposure to basic financial analysis
- Experience with alternative modes of research delivery/data visualization tools also a plus (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, etc.)
