DUTIES
- Assist and participate in maintenance and administration of software tools that supports the Information Security Program
- Provide clear, concise, timely and constructive recommendations regarding IT security in all areas related to information systems and networks
- Manage3rd party partners providing Security services for the office and data center
- Validate"Firewall Change requests" feasibility and impact on security policies and network architecture and send approval to 3rd party partners for implementation
- Perform risk and impact analysis on proposed changes and projects to the security infrastructure
- Review vulnerability reports, provide remediation and mitigation solutions
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct security problems remotely
- Maintain and administer network security infrastructure systems such as firewalls and Web Application Firewalls
- Documents network security systems and related policies and procedures. Maintain, andoptimize Checkpoint Firewalls
- Designs and supervise implementation of remote connectivity solutions including IPSec VPNand 2 Factor Authentication
- Monitor security system logs (i.e. Web Application Firewall, firewall system logs,etc.) and report on discovered anomalies or problems (i.e. performance issues, inappropriate access patterns)
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with AWS security best practices
- Working knowledge of network security, authentication mechanisms, wireless, encryption technologies, and networking protocols including HTTP(S), DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, UDPand SNMP
- Knowledge of network security exploits and implementations
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years directly related work experience in network, security administration\ system engineering
- Prior hands-on professional security experience must include Windows 2008, Windows 7and Linux.
- Exposure to some open source or commercial network, security, and vulnerability assessment tools, such as nessus, nmap, Burp suite, Acunetix, tcpdump,metasploit, wireshark
- Web application firewall (Imperva SecureSphere or Akamai KONA) experience would bea plus
